Jeep Gladiator Whitecap Edition: A Retro Throwback for 2026
Jeep has expanded its Whitecap edition styling to the Gladiator pickup truck, offering a vintage-inspired look for the 2026 model year. Building on the success of the Wrangler Whitecap released in December, the Gladiator Whitecap package is available on several trims and adds a distinctive aesthetic for a relatively modest price.
What is the Jeep Gladiator Whitecap Edition?
The 2026 Jeep Gladiator Whitecap features a Bright White roof and a matching side stripe decal displaying “1941” on the front doors, a nod to the first year of production for the original Willys MB Jeep. The outer edge of the seven-slot grille is likewise accented with Bright White paint. For Rubicon, Rubicon X, Mojave, and Mojave X trims, a white decal displaying the trim name is added to the hood.
Trims and Pricing
The Whitecap package is available on the Gladiator Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, Mojave, and Mojave X trims. The package adds $495 to the vehicle’s price. Starting prices with the Whitecap package are as follows:
- Sahara Whitecap: $50,680
- Rubicon X and Mojave X: $63,775
Performance and Capability
The Gladiator Whitecap retains all the performance and capability features of the standard Gladiator models. This includes a towing capacity of up to 7,700 pounds and a maximum payload of 1,720 pounds. All Whitecap editions are equipped with a 285-hp 3.6-liter V-6 engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel drive Car and Driver.
Availability
The 2026 Jeep Gladiator Whitecap will begin appearing at dealerships in the spring. Quantities are limited.
