Jennifer Lawrence Confronts Unauthorized Crew During Nude Scene Filming
Jennifer Lawrence recently interrupted a film production to confront unauthorized crew members who were present during the filming of a nude scene, according to an interview on the podcast Call Her Daddy. The Oscar-winning actor explained that she took a firm stance not only to protect her own boundaries but to establish workplace protections for younger, less experienced performers.
Lawrence did not specify the title of the film involved in the incident. However, she emphasized that clear boundaries are necessary on film sets to protect actors who might otherwise feel pressured to remain silent during intimate scenes.
Jennifer Lawrence Explains Workplace Rules and Vulnerable Young Actors
Lawrence detailed her reasoning for speaking out during the production. She described the potential dilemma facing younger actors who find themselves in uncomfortable situations on set.
Lawrence stated on Call Her Daddy: “There was this situation on set where unauthorized crew members were there during a nude scene. I got really angry, because if we don’t start setting rules, what will happen when the same thing happens to an eighteen-year-old who isn’t aware of this and, when she shows up, finds herself with people who aren’t authorized?
”
Lawrence noted her focus on the risks to newcomers: I have imposed myself firmly, especially because, if we don’t establish this principle at the level we are at now, what will happen to an 18-year-old girl who doesn’t know anyone?
Lawrence added that she wanted to make it clear to the individuals involved why their presence was unacceptable.
Esmé Bianco Recalls a Similar Unauthorized Presence on Game of Thrones
The incident recounted by Lawrence mirrors past accounts from other actors regarding intimacy coordination and closed sets. Esmé Bianco, who played Ros in the first season of Game of Thrones, described an unexpected encounter during a nude shoot.

Writing in the book Fire doesn’t kill the dragon, Bianco recalled turning around on what was supposed to be a closed set and discovering three men holding a single light banner while she was completely naked. Bianco demanded they leave the area, highlighting the ongoing industry challenge of maintaining privacy boundaries during vulnerable scenes.
Jennifer Lawrence Returns to the Hunger Games Franchise
Alongside her comments on set safety, Lawrence discussed her return to the franchise. She confirmed she will reprise her role as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games: Dawn of the Harvest.

Lawrence will reunite with former co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Woody Harrelson. She described the experience of returning to the franchise as incredible, noting that many members of the original crew—including camera operators and assistant directors—worked on the production.
