Russian Attacks Intensify in Kharkiv Region, Targeting Civilian Infrastructure

Kharkiv, Ukraine – February 19, 2026 – Russian forces have escalated attacks in the Kharkiv region, employing a diverse range of weaponry and causing damage to civilian infrastructure, according to Ukrainian officials. The attacks, which occurred over the past 24 hours, targeted settlements across the region, resulting in injuries and property damage.

Recent Attacks and Damage Assessment

Oleg Sinegubov, Head of the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, reported that seven settlements were shelled by Russian forces. The weaponry used included four KABs (guided aerial bombs), five UAVs of the “Geran-2” type and two fpv drones [1].

• A community center in the Bogodukhovsky district was damaged.
• Power grids in the Izyumsky district sustained damage.
• A civilian enterprise in the village of Dvurechny Kut was hit.

Casualties Reported
