‘Years to the Day’ Returns for Encore Performances in Los Angeles and New York
The Beverly Hills Playhouse will present encore performances of Allen Barton’s play, Years to the Day, featuring Peter Zizzo and Jeff LeBeau. The production will run for three performances in Los Angeles (February 20-22) before moving to New York City’s American Theatre of Actors for five performances from February 25-28.
Barton stated, “With the incredible response we got to the Los Angeles run in November, we just felt this could be the play’s moment. We have the time, we have the unique talent of these two actors, let’s show this thing off in the theater capital of the world and see what happens.” Beverly Hills Playhouse
Years to the Day originally premiered in 2013 and has since been performed in ten cities across three continents. NoHo Arts District The play centers on a conversation between two old friends, Dan and Jeff, six years after their last meeting. Over 80 minutes, they discuss friendship, family, marriage, health and politics, questioning the resilience of their bond in the face of differing viewpoints.
The play was named one of Los Angeles’ 10 Best New Plays by LA Weekly in 2013. Discover Hollywood Allen Barton directs the production, with Jeff LeBeau playing Jeff and Peter Zizzo portraying Dan.
