Valentine’s Day at the table: the cuisine of L’Assaggio

The heart of the Valentine’s Day experience designed by Castille Paris – Starhotels Collection will take place in the Italian restaurant The Tasting which bears the signature of Starred chef Ugo Alciati . On the evening of February 14th it offers a special seven-course tasting menu, accompanied by live music, to celebrate love through flavours, atmosphere and even fun.

It is also one of the first menus signed by new executive chef Marco Terenghiwhich leads to Paris a precise, contemporary Italian cuisine deeply linked to seasonality, the result of his experiences in starred kitchens between France and Italy. Among the paper plates, Gillardeau oysters with apple brunoise flavored with lime, seared red mullet with sorrel and passion fruit, ricotta and pumpkin ravioli with shellfish bisque and red prawn tartareand roast turbot with bergamot white butter sauce. The desserts, from wild strawberry creations to the ethereal “Nuages d’Amour” with Chantilly cream, conclude the evening in a romantic way.
