Samsung Leads Global Android Smartphone Sales in Q3 2025

Samsung smartphones were the best-selling Android phones worldwide in the third quarter of 2025,according to a report by Counterpoint. The global research company recently released its “Global Handset Model Sales Tracker” report.

The report lists the 10 best-selling smartphones globally for the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, spanning July-September. Notably, no Android phones from brands other than Samsung appeared in the ranking.

Samsung cellphones entirely filled the rankings for Android-based smartphones, competing with the iPhone 16 series in Q3 2025.

Samsung Android phones held positions five through nine on the list of best-selling phones worldwide during July-September 2025, as reported by Counterpoint, with all models belonging to the Galaxy A series.

The Galaxy A16 5G secured fifth place. The Galaxy A06 and Galaxy A36 followed in sixth and seventh place, respectively. Rounding out the Samsung dominance, the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A16 4G took eighth and ninth positions.
