Livorno Rugby Under 8s Compete in Pisa Tournament
A successful rugby grouping for the Livorno Rugby Under 8 team took place on the ‘Gemignani’ municipal playing field, within the Scintilla Pisa facility, on a sunny day. The event, organized by the local company, was designed for fun and developed into a sports festival.
Event Highlights
The tournament, held in the shadow of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, saw enthusiastic participation from young athletes born in 2018 and 2019. Livorno Rugby fielded two teams, competing against Lions Amaranto Livorno, Elba, and a mixed Scintilla Pisa/Apuani Massa team in a round-robin format.
Each of the six teams played five matches, filled with goals and excitement. Coaches Stefano Biagi and Stefano Marini were able to utilize the large squad to provide ample playing time for all athletes.
