LSU Men’s Tennis Announces 2026 Spring Schedule

BATON ROUGE, La. – The LSU Men’s Tennis team has released its spring schedule for 2026, featuring a challenging slate of matches against top opponents. The season is set to begin on January 16th, with postseason play culminating in May.
Early Season Challenges (January – February)
The Tigers will begin their campaign on the road at Clemson on January 16th.They return home for a doubleheader on January 18th, hosting South Alabama at 1:00 p.m. CT and Jackson State at 5:00 p.m. CT. A trip to Arizona for the ITA Kickoff Weekend follows, were LSU will face Arizona on January 24th and either Florida State or Pepperdine on January 25th. The road trip concludes with a match against Memphis on January 30th.
February opens with home matches against Rice on February 2nd at 1:00 p.m.CT and Tulane on February 3rd at 5:00 p.m. CT. Depending on their performance at the ITA Kickoff Weekend, the Tigers may travel to Texas to compete in the ITA National Indoor Championships, hosted in either Dallas or Waco, from February 14-18.
Conference Play Begins (February – March)
LSU will kick off Southeastern Conference play with road matches at Georgia on February 21st and Alabama on February 23rd. They conclude February with a doubleheader in Youngsville, Louisiana, facing Nicholls at 11:00 a.m.CT and UL-Lafayette later that day.
March sees the Tigers hosting their first SEC matchup against Ole Miss on March 1st at 12:00 p.m.CT, followed by Southern at 4:00 p.m. CT. A short trip to Texas is scheduled for March 6th before a two-week stretch of home matches.This includes doubleheaders against Tennessee and Southern Miss on March 8th, and Oklahoma and Texas A&M, along with New orleans, on March 13th and 15th respectively. Arkansas and Mississippi State will also visit Baton Rouge on March 20th and 22nd.
Late Season and Postseason (April – May)
The Tigers will hit the road again in late March for matches against Auburn on March 27th and Vanderbilt on March 29th. April begins with road matches at South Carolina on April 2nd and Florida on April 4th. LSU concludes the regular season at home against Kentucky on April 10th at 5:30 p.m. CT.
Postseason play begins at the SEC Tournament in college Station from April 15-19. Following the SEC Tournament, LSU will await the NCAA Regional (May 1-3), NCAA Super Regional (May 8-10), and the NCAA Team Championship (May 14-17).
