Manuela Arcuri and Giovanni Di Gianfrancesco Divorce After 10 Years of Marriage

Italian actress Manuela Arcuri and her husband, Giovanni Di Gianfrancesco, have divorced after a decade of marriage, attributing the split to a loss of passion and connection. The couple, who share a 12-year-vintage son named Mattia, initially wed in Las Vegas in 2013, followed by a formal ceremony in Italy in 2022.

A Long-Term Relationship Ends

Arcuri and Di Gianfrancesco began their relationship in 2010 and became parents in 2014. Despite their long history, Arcuri explained in an interview that the couple grew apart, focusing primarily on their son and neglecting their own needs as individuals and as a couple.

No Third Parties Involved

Addressing rumors of infidelity, Arcuri firmly denied any involvement of third parties in the separation. She clarified that a previous social media post regarding betrayal was not directed at her husband but at individuals who had disappointed her. “Giovanni and I moved away and no longer nurtured the couple,” Arcuri stated, adding that they “dedicated ourselves to our son Mattia but the attention we needed as men and women was missing.”

Monotony and Lack of Communication

The primary reason for the divorce, according to Arcuri, was the monotony that crept into their relationship over time. “We considered each other less,” she revealed. “It is demanding to maintain passion and complicity after so many years but the problem of all couples is that after so many years monotony sets in and this makes you tired in the relationship.” Arcuri emphasized the importance of maintaining communication and nurturing the “flame” in a relationship, something she and Di Gianfrancesco failed to do.

Wedding Details

The couple’s 2022 wedding took place at the Castle of Bracciano, with their son Mattia bringing the wedding rings. Arcuri described the moment her father told her she looked like a princess as particularly emotional. She wore a lace dress and was accompanied down the aisle by Annalisa Minetti singing “Prayer.”
