Mica Riera Announces First Pregnancy on Stage During Theater Performance
Argentine actor Mica Riera announced she is pregnant with her first child during a live theater performance of El chat de mamis at the Multitabaris Theater, according to reports from América TV’s program LAM. Riera shared the news alongside her castmates, including Eugenia Tobal, Carla Conte, Manuela Pal, Karina Hernández, Berenice Gandullo, and Lionel Arostegui, after days of social media teasers that left audiences guessing which cast member was expecting a baby.
During the announcement on stage, the cast distributed confetti cannons to reveal the baby’s sex. Upon pulling the triggers, blue paper confetti burst into the air, confirming that Riera and her partner, Tomás Baremberg, are expecting a boy. Baremberg maintains a low profile outside of the entertainment industry and works in agriculture.
Cast Teased Pregnancy Mystery on Social Media
The public reveal followed a social media campaign organized by the theatrical company. In the days leading up to the announcement, the cast posted hints on Instagram to build anticipation among ticket holders and followers. “One of the chat members is expecting a baby,” the cast wrote on Instagram. “Now we just have to figure out who it is.”
Cast members resolved the mystery during Wednesday’s curtain call by handing the microphone to Riera.
