In the free dance to Romeo and Juliet the duo chose to tell the story in reverse order – from the tragic ending back to the first kiss. The program was carried out with high quality, where the lifting maintained high levels and the interpretation of the music was strong. The only clear miscalculation came in the twizzle sequence, where they failed to top level, costing valuable points in an even starting field. The pair thus lost a position compared to the rhythmic dance.

– We are satisfied with how we carried out the program and how we tackled the final. Of course you want to put every detail, but we gave everything out there and take a lot of experience with us from this championship. We enjoyed being out on the ice today and we are proud to have created Swedish figure skating history, say Milla Ruud Reitan and Nikolaj Majorov.
