Interfaith Dialog to Address Social Challenges: A Minneapolis-Milan Exchange
Rome, Italy – February 6, 2026 – The Baptist Church of via Pinamonte in Milan, Italy, in partnership with the Ambassadors of Peace of the UCEBI (Baptist Evangelical Christian Union of Italy), is hosting an online dialogue titled “The Noise of the Growing Forest.” The event, scheduled for Monday, February 9th at 8:30 PM, will be held on the Zoom platform adn aims to foster an exchange of experiences and strategies for navigating contemporary societal difficulties.
The initiative will feature perspectives from the United States,with participation from Pastor Ray Schellinger of American Ministries and Travis Norwell from Judson Memorial Baptist Church in Minneapolis. Organizers state the session will center on testimonies from Minneapolis regarding local resistance movements and provide a platform for shared learning.
Cristina Arcidiacono will moderate the evening, and Pastor Ivano De Gasperis will provide simultaneous translation to facilitate broader participation. This interfaith exchange underscores a growing trend of international collaboration amongst religious organizations to address shared global challenges.
