Okay, here’s a revised version of the text, incorporating verification adn corrections based on recent information as of today, November 21, 2023. I’ve focused on updating the status of Main Street/Diamond Sports Group and MLB’s handling of regional sports networks (RSNs).
Formerly known as Diamond Sports Group (DSG), Main Street Sports Group is facing renewed financial difficulties, having only emerged from a two-year bankruptcy period at the start of 2023. It began the year with rights contracts for 29 MLB, national Basketball Association (NBA), and National Hockey League (NHL) teams and was the subject of takeover speculation.
However, a significant number of teams have since moved to terminate their agreements with Main Street. As of November 2023, eight MLB teams have pulled their rights from the RSN, including the Arizona Diamondbacks, Atlanta Braves, Colorado Rockies, Cleveland Guardians, Kansas City Royals, Minnesota Twins, San Diego Padres, and Texas Rangers.[https://wwwsportingnewscom/us/mlb/news/diamond-sports-group-mlb-teams-rsn-bankruptcy-updates/1q9q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q[https://wwwsportingnewscom/us/mlb/news/diamond-sports-group-mlb-teams-rsn-bankruptcy-updates/1q9q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q6q
