Japan Deploys Fighter Jets to Monitor Russia-China Bomber Flights
Tokyo – Japan deployed a number of fighter jets to monitor the movements of Russian and Chinese bombers conducting joint patrols around the country. This incident occurs amid increasing tensions between Tokyo and Beijing.
The japanese Ministry of Defence stated that two Russian Tu-95 strategic bombers, capable of carrying nuclear weapons, flew from the Sea of Japan to the East china Sea to meet with two Chinese H-6 bombers, according to Reuters on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
The Japanese Defense Ministry reported that a total of four Russian and Chinese bombers carried out “joint long-range flights” over the Pacific at midnight on Tuesday,december 9,2025.
