Morris County Improvement Authority Announces 2026-2027 Meeting Schedule and Public Notice Updates
The Morris County Improvement Authority (MCIA) has announced its schedule of meetings for the period of 2026-2027 and detailed changes to how public and legal notices will be published, effective March 1, 2026.
2026-2027 Meeting Dates
The Board of Commissioners of the MCIA will hold regular meetings on the following dates:
- March 18, 2026
- April 15, 2026 at 3:00 PM
- May 20, 2026
- June 17, 2026 at 3:00 PM
- July 15, 2026
- August 19, 2026
- September 16, 2026 at 3:00 PM
- October 21, 2026
- November 16, 2026 at 3:00 PM
- December 16, 2026
- January 20, 2027
- February 17, 2027 at 3:00 PM (includes 2027 Annual Meeting)
With the exception of the dates specifically noted with times, regular meetings will start at 5:00 p.m.
Hybrid Meeting Format and Public Access
All meetings will be held in a hybrid format, offering both in-person attendance and virtual access via Cisco WebEx. Meetings will take place in the Knox Conference Room, 5th Floor, Morris County Administration Building, Morristown, New Jersey.
The specific WebEx link, phone number, webinar number/access code, and password for each meeting will be posted on the Authority’s website at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. In the event of technical difficulties with WebEx, a teleconference option is available at (877) 826-6967, using Passcode 7446578#.
Public Comment Opportunities
The public can participate in meetings and provide comments through the following methods:
- In-person attendance at the Knox Conference Room.
- Virtual attendance via the WebEx link.
- Telephone participation using the provided number and access code.
- Written comments submitted via email to ckristiansen@co.morris.nj.us (deadline: 2:00 p.m. For 3:00 p.m. Meetings, 4:00 p.m. For 5:00 p.m. Meetings).

New Public Notice Publication Policy
In compliance with New Jersey Senate Bill 4654, enacted June 30, 2025, by Governor Phil Murphy, the Morris County Improvement Authority will publish all public and legal notices on its official website beginning March 1, 2026.
