Disappointment with Funeral

Remembering Nikolay Zlatkov
Asenova described her son as a person of “strength, dignity, courage and honesty,” emphasizing his intolerance for “lying, manipulation and betrayal.” She referred to him as a “Brave Heart” and asserted that “no one can kill the IMMORTAL” and “no one can stop the TRUTH.”
The Okolchitsa Case
Nikolay Zlatkov, along with Ivaylo Kalushev and 15-year-traditional Aleksandar Makulev, were found dead in a camper van near Okolchitsa Peak. According to investigators, Makulev and Zlatkov were killed by Kalushev, who then died by suicide as reported by Fakti.bg.
Ongoing Investigation and Family Disputes
The investigation into the deaths has been met with scrutiny from the families involved. Relatives of all three deceased individuals – Zlatkov, Makulev, and Kalushev – have requested access to investigation documents according to Fakti.bg.
Recently, a dispute arose between Ralitsa Asenova and her ex-husband regarding the handling of Nikolay’s body. The father took possession of the body against Asenova’s wishes, prompting her to express concerns that this action would hinder the pursuit of truth as reported by Fakti.bg.
Forensic Findings
A forensic examination revealed that the three individuals died between February 5th and 6th. The examination also indicated that Nikolay Zlatkov’s body had post-mortem abrasions according to Fakti.bg.
