WWE Raw on Netflix Faced Temporary Playback Issues

Some viewers experienced technical difficulties while streaming Monday Night Raw on Netflix, sparking frustration and discussion on social media. The issues centered around the inability to rewind or restart the live stream, impacting the viewing experience for some subscribers.

Technical Glitch, Not a Permanent Change

Reports of the playback problems surfaced on X (formerly Twitter), with users noting the absence of a progress bar and the inability to resume viewing from the beginning of the live broadcast. Joe Negron of the Smart Fan Wrestling Podcast voiced concerns, stating the issues were “CANCELLIN’ TIME!” if unresolved. Bryan Alvarez also reported experiencing problems.

However, the issue appears to have been a temporary glitch. Alvarez later reported, “I am told there is a glitch on Netflix that they’re aware of and working to fix.” Several users confirmed that the problems had been resolved, with one user replying that their ability to rewind and fast forward had been restored.

WWE’s Move to Netflix

The transition of Monday Night Raw to Netflix marked a significant shift in how fans access WWE content. In January 2024, WWE announced a 10-year, $5 billion partnership with Netflix, granting the streaming giant exclusive rights to air Monday Night Raw.

The debut of Monday Night Raw on Netflix took place live from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on January 6, 2025, featuring top WWE stars such as John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Bianca Belair. In addition to Raw, Netflix also streams SmackDown, NXT, and Premium Live Events like WrestleMania and SummerSlam, expanding WWE’s global reach.

As of March 24, 2026, WWE Raw continues to air live on Netflix every Monday night, with various subscription tiers available, including options with and without advertisements.
