Oklahoma State Wrestling Dominates Iowa, Secures 32-11 Victory

STILLWATER, Okla. – The No. 3 Oklahoma State wrestling team closed its dual season with a decisive 32-11 victory over No. 7 Iowa on Sunday night at a sold-out Gallagher-Iba Arena. The win marked the Cowboys’ largest margin of victory over the Hawkeyes since 1961 and avenged their earlier loss at the National Duals Invitational.

The Cowboys (15-1) won seven of the ten bouts, securing bonus points in four of them, while the Hawkeyes fell to 12-6 on the season. A crowd of 12,629 fans filled the arena, boosting the Cowboys’ season average attendance to 9,259.
