Nvidia Reportedly Affected by memory Chip Shortage, Reducing GeForce RTX 50 Series Production in 2026

It truly seems it’s not just gaming giants Nintendo who have to swallow the bitter pill due to the recent shortage of memory chips. Now news has emerged that graphics card provider Nvidia is also feeling the impact, with claims that it will reduce production of one of its graphics card series in 2026.

The news came from reports Benchlife, which reported that a China-based outlet called BoBantang said that the graphics card provider would reduce graphics card production for the GeForce RTX 50 series in 2026. In comparison, their production will only be 30% to 40% compared to mid-early 2025.
