Two Arrested in Oklahoma City Double Homicide
Oklahoma City, OK – Two individuals, Hugo Angel, 20, and James Pruiett, 42, have been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with a double homicide that occurred on February 6, 2026. Both are currently being held on a $10 million bond MSN.
Details of the Incident
On February 6, 2026, the Oklahoma City Police Department (OCPD) responded to a call reporting an assault with a deadly weapon near NW 10th Street and N. Virginia Ave. Upon arrival, officers discovered two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds MSN.
Investigation and Arrests
According to court documents, Angel and Pruiett were observed inside a tent at the property located at 1010 N Virginia when witnesses reported hearing gunshots originating from within the tent MSN. Witnesses were able to identify Angel, and investigators determined that Angel and Pruiett were acquainted.
Angel was initially arrested on February 8, 2026, on unrelated charges. Surveillance footage from a nearby gas station showed a figure believed to be Angel fleeing the scene. Investigators subsequently located rifle casings within a tent, tracing Angel’s movements MSN.
Pruiett allegedly signaled Angel to leave the area before contacting 911. However, Pruiett told investigators he was inside the tent during the shooting and did not witness the event. He claimed a delay in calling 911 was due to difficulty stopping music playback on his phone MSN.
