Olivia Dean Dominates 2026 BRIT Awards, Taking Home Four Coveted Prizes
Olivia Dean was the standout winner at the 2026 BRIT Awards, securing four awards including British Album of the Year and British Artist of the Year. The ceremony, held for the first time in its 46-year history outside of London, took place at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena.
A Breakthrough Year Celebrated
Dean’s success follows a remarkable 2025, propelled by her critically acclaimed second album, ‘The Art Of Loving’. She claimed Album of the Year, Song of the Year for her collaboration with Sam Fender on ‘Rein Me In’, Artist of the Year, and Best Pop Act.
Star-Studded Performances and Recognitions
The awards show featured performances from a diverse lineup of artists, including Harry Styles, marking his first public performance in three years, as well as a surprise collaboration between Björk and Rosalía. Other performers included HUNTR/X’s EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, Wolf Alice, Mark Ronson, Alex Warren, Shadow, and RAYE.
Prior to the main event, Jacob Alon was announced as the winner of the 2026 BRITs Critics’ Choice Award [BBC News], and Mark Ronson received recognition for his Outstanding Contribution to Music.
Additional Winners Honored
Noel Gallagher, following Oasis’ successful ‘Live ‘25’ reunion tour, was awarded the Songwriter Of The Year award. PinkPantheress made history as the youngest recipient and first female winner of the Producer Of The Year award.
Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne
The BRITs Lifetime Achievement Award was posthumously presented to Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away in July. A moving tribute performance was delivered by Robbie Williams, accompanied by members of Osbourne’s long-standing band, including Adam Wakeman, Robert Trujillo, Tommy Clufetos, and Zakk Wylde.
