Oregon State Women’s Basketball Guard Lucia Navarro Enters Transfer Portal
Corvallis, OR – Oregon State women’s basketball will see a change to its roster next season as reserve guard Lucia Navarro has announced her intention to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to Oregon Live.
Navarro’s Career at Oregon State
Navarro, a junior from Valencia, Spain, played in 16 games over two seasons with the Beavers. During the 2025-26 season, she appeared in six games, averaging 3.8 minutes per game and scoring two free throws against Washington State on February 21st. As detailed on the Oregon State Athletics website, she also grabbed three rebounds in a win over Alaska-Anchorage on December 14th.
In the 2024-25 season, Navarro played in 10 games, averaging four minutes per game and totaling three points, eight rebounds, and two assists. Her player profile on osubeavers.com notes she shot 75.0 percent from the free throw line (3-for-4) during that season.
Prior to Oregon State
Before joining the Beavers, Navarro played for Florida State, appearing in five games as a freshman. She also competed with the Valencia Basketball Club and the U18 Spanish Team, where she averaged approximately 14 points and 11 rebounds per game.
