Two Shot at Trinity Recreation Center in South Los Angeles

Two men were shot at the Trinity Recreation Center in South Los Angeles on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at approximately 2:30 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Both victims were transported to a local hospital and are currently listed in stable condition.

Details of the Shooting

The shooting occurred in the 2400 block of Trinity Street, about a half-mile south of Washington Boulevard. Officers responded to reports of the incident and found the two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds at the recreation center. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics provided medical attention at the scene before transporting them to a hospital.
