University of Dubuque Students Present Life Stories in Babka Theatre
Students at the University of Dubuque recently participated in “Life Story Presentations” held in the Babka Theatre at the Heritage Center. The event featured personal narratives performed by students, with one student using props to enhance their storytelling.
According to reports from the Telegraph Herald, Owen Ripperger stood inside the Babka Theatre on Thursday night and used a pair of scissors to act out giving a haircut to Austin Thomson during the presentation.
The performances were attended by an audience of approximately 80 people, including community members such as Helen Zeimet, who is 102 years old.
