* Risk Assessment: You’ll assess customer risks using a risk-based approach, analyzing business activities, compliance programs, and controls. This includes evaluating Sanctions,PEP (politically Exposed Persons),and adverse media risks.
* Inquiry & Escalation: Investigate complex cases, document findings, and escalate concerns to relevant teams.
* Guidance & Support: Provide guidance to internal teams on compliance matters.
* Regulatory Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on AML/CFT regulations, KYC/B requirements, and how they impact Wise.
* Global understanding: Develop a deep understanding of different business models, country risks, and regulatory requirements across various geographies.
* KPI Focused: Meet performance indicators set by leadership.

What you need (Requirements):

* Experiance: 3+ years in financial services compliance or at a financial regulator.
* AML/CFT Expertise: Strong understanding of AML/CFT requirements and risk assessment.
* Due diligence Skills: Proven experience in due diligence, financial crime compliance, and risk mitigation (especially sanctions).
* Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze information, identify risks, and propose mitigation measures.
* Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Stakeholder Management: Ability to build relationships and work effectively with different teams.
* Quality assurance: Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure documentation meets standards.
