Passionfroot Secures $15 Million Series A to Scale B2B Creator Marketplace
Passionfroot, a Berlin-based marketplace connecting B2B brands with specialized content creators, has raised $15 million in a Series A funding round led by Insight Partners. The company plans to use the capital to open offices in New York and São Paulo and double its current workforce of 15 employees, according to a report by TechCrunch.
Insight Partners Backs the Institutionalization of B2B Influencer Marketing
The investment from Insight Partners signals a shift toward treating B2B creator marketing as a scalable corporate channel rather than an experimental tactic. Rebecca Liu-Doyle, managing director at Insight Partners, told TechCrunch that the investment is driven by the “consumerization” of B2B go-to-market strategies. Liu-Doyle noted that AI technology specifically requires constant evangelization and narrative building, creating a high demand for creators with deep market expertise.
Passionfroot CEO and co-founder Jen Phan stated that AI is commoditizing software, leading to a crowded market where features alone no longer differentiate products. According to Phan, B2B buyers are increasingly relying on trusted voices via LinkedIn, Substack, and YouTube podcasts to discover new tools.
Revenue Growth and the Role of ‘Zest’ AI
Passionfroot reported a 13-fold increase in revenue over the last year. The platform has already paid at least $10 million to creators over the past 18 months and counts companies such as Figma, ElevenLabs, Replit, Framer, and Gamma among its clients, per TechCrunch.
To manage this growth, the startup launched Zest, an AI agent designed to help brands execute and monitor campaign performance. Passionfroot claims Zest identifies suitable creators both within and outside its own platform based on a proprietary creator graph that tracks reach and performance data across thousands of campaigns.
Funding History and Market Expansion
This Series A round included participation from existing investors Creandum, Supernode Global, and s16vc. Since 2022, Passionfroot has raised more than $21 million in total funding, according to TechCrunch.
The company is now expanding its physical footprint to better support its growth. Jen Phan is relocating from Berlin to New York to lead U.S. operations, while the opening of a São Paulo office targets the growing B2B ecosystem in Latin America.

Future Roadmap for AI Integration
Passionfroot is developing tools to measure how creator campaigns influence AI citations—essentially tracking how a brand appears in AI-generated responses. Additionally, the company plans to introduce AI-powered monetization tips and content ideas specifically for the creators using its platform.
