Possessions Arrives on Xbox and PC
Lucid Labs has released its minimalist 3D puzzle game Possessions on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC through the Microsoft Store. The title carries a price tag of $14.99 and supports Xbox Play Anywhere.
That feature lets players buy the game once and play it across both Xbox consoles and PC. The release also includes optimization for handheld devices. Subscribers who own a copy can play it via Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Perspective-Based Puzzle Design
The game centers on spatial perception and the player’s viewpoint. Rooms open like dollhouses with fragmented objects scattered inside, such as a television suspended in mid-air far from its table.
Players rotate the entire environment to find the correct angle where elements align and snap back into their original forms, such as a crib, piano, or sofa. The title features 43 hand-crafted environments that chart a family’s story without text or dialogue. The experience contains no timers, allowing players to explore rooms at their own pace.
Possessions Wins Awards After Debuting on Apple Arcade
“We don’t simply consider it a port, but a flagship launch, enriched with new polishes and accessibility features to reach a completely new audience,” Chirag Chopra, founder and creative director at Lucid Labs, stated.
Possessions originally debuted on Apple Arcade in 2019. It won Indie Game of the Year at India GDC 2019 and Best Mobile and Tablet Game at FICCI Frames 2020. Development for the Xbox and PC versions took place under the Microsoft Developer Acceleration Program, which highlighted the studio in April 2026.
