Prabowo Condemns Acid Attack on Activist as Terrorism

Jakarta – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has strongly condemned the acid attack on human rights activist Andrie Yunus, characterizing the assault as an act of “atrocious terrorism.” The attack targeted Yunus, a member of the Commission for Missing Persons and Victims of Violence (KontraS).

As chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo affirmed that his administration will not tolerate violence against citizens, even those who are critical of the government.
