Ramadan Ondash Prepares for Shimon Yoshinari at The Inner Circle 38
Lebanese Muay Thai standout Ramadan Ondash is balancing a demanding fight schedule with global travel plans ahead of his upcoming bout, onefc.com reported. The 20-year-old fighter will face Japanese competitor Shimon Yoshinari in the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix quarterfinals at The Inner Circle 38. The match is scheduled for Friday, November 13, broadcast live in Asia primetime from Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium on live.onefc.com.
Growing up in a large Beirut household as the youngest of eight children, Ondash was immersed in martial arts from an early age. His father worked as a wrestler, and several older brothers pursued professional careers in Muay Thai. Ondash established a decorated amateur background, earning titles as an IFMA youth champion and a multiple-time Arab junior champion before transitioning to international competition.
Global Travels and Post-Fight Plans in the Caucasus
Outside of training camps, Ondash maintains an active travel schedule that has taken him across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The fighter’s international trips include 17 visits to Thailand, alongside journeys to Germany, Jordan, Turkey, Spain, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai.
Looking past his November tournament assignment, Ondash outlined specific holiday itineraries for the winter season. He plans to visit Georgia for five days and Armenia for three days around Christmas, joined by a close group of five or six friends. While he typically enjoys warm coastal destinations, he specifically wants to experience snowy mountain landscapes in the Caucasus region.
Future Destinations and Training Discipline
The rigorous physical demands of professional martial arts require strict daily routines and continuous preparation. Ondash noted that traveling serves as an essential method to recharge between major competitions. Beyond his planned winter trip to the Caucasus, the Lebanese athlete expressed a strong desire to visit Bali in Indonesia, citing recommendations from friends who have traveled to the tropical destination.

When navigating unfamiliar cities, Ondash prefers exploring local streets, visiting cafes, and documenting his experiences with his phone camera. His athletic career continues under the banner of ONE Championship, where his upcoming quarterfinal bout against Yoshinari marks a critical step in the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix.
