Utah State Gymnastics Falls to San José State Despite Individual Victories
SAN JOSE, Calif. – Utah State gymnastics scored 195.675 but was defeated by San José State, which posted a season-high 196.350, on Sunday afternoon at the Provident Credit Union Event Center. The Aggies are now 11-4 overall and 3-2 in Mountain West competition, while the Spartans improved to 9-1 overall and 2-1 in the MW.

Aggies Shine on Individual Events
Utah State gymnasts secured three event titles during the meet. Junior Mya Witte earned her first-career title with a career-high 9.900 on beam. Sophomores Olivia Orengo and Lundyn VanderToolen tied for first on bars with scores of 9.900, and freshman Anabelle Dewey tied for first on floor with a score of 9.850.

Utah State began the competition on bars, scoring 48.950. Highlights included a career-high 9.900 from Olivia Orengo and a season-high 9.900 from Lundyn VanderToolen, who tied for first on the event.
