Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, known for her role in the MTV reality series Jersey Shore, publicly shared her recent diagnosis of stage one cervical cancer on February 20, 2026. The reality star revealed the news in a TikTok video, emphasizing the importance of regular Pap smear screenings.

Polizzi explained that doctors detected adenocarcinoma, a type of cervical cancer originating in the gland cells lining the cervical canal, during a routine Pap smear exam. She expressed relief that the cancer was caught early, stating, “Obviously not the news that I was hoping for, but also not the worst news just because they caught it so early. Thank freaking God!”

Treatment and Next Steps

According to Polizzi, doctors removed a portion of her cervix containing the tumor, and the surrounding tissue was found to be cancer-free. She will not require chemotherapy. A PET scan is scheduled to determine if the cancer has spread to other parts of her body, including the lymph nodes. Polizzi anticipates a likely hysterectomy following the scan.
