Riyadh – Snow covers several areas of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday (December 17) and Thursday (December 18) local time. A thin layer of snow transforms mountainous areas surrounded by desert into a winter wonderland as cold whether envelops the country.

Snow fell across parts of northern Saudi Arabia on Wednesday (December 17) local time, accompanied by cold weather and heavy rain in several cities and other areas, according to Arab News on Friday (December 19, 2025).

Trojena, a mountain destination for climbing and skiing located in Jebel Al-Lawz, Tabuk Province, at an altitude of 2,600 meters, is covered in snow and experiencing light rain.
