Sony Unveils RIALTO 65: A New Era in High-Resolution Imaging
Sony has announced the launch of its latest imaging technology, the RIALTO 65, a high-resolution camera system designed for professional cinematographers and broadcast applications. According to Sony’s official press release, the RIALTO 65 features a 65-megapixel full-frame sensor, offering enhanced dynamic range and low-light performance. The device is part of Sony’s ongoing efforts to expand its lineup of cinematic tools, following the success of its FX6 and FX3 cameras.
The RIALTO 65 is equipped with a newly developed BIONZ XR image processing engine, which Sony claims reduces noise by up to 40% compared to previous models. This advancement allows for clearer footage in challenging lighting conditions, a critical feature for filmmakers working on location. The camera also supports 4K 60fps and 10-bit 4:2:2 recording, making it suitable for high-end television and film production.
