All six celebrity couples competing in StarDance survived Saturday night’s live broadcast without an elimination, with their scores carrying over into next week’s round, Novinky reported.
After the November 14 broadcast, only five couples will remain on the dance floor. The theme for Saturday’s episode required each pair to perform to a song from the year they turned 20, and the four-judge panel—Zdeněk Chlopčík, Tatiana Drexler, Jana Burkiewiczová and Richard Genzer—scored the routines.
Vojtěch Dyk Leads Saturday’s Scoring With 37 Points
Actor and singer Vojtěch Dyk and professional dancer Catharine Málek topped the night with 37 points for a rumba, earning the season’s first perfect 10 from Genzer. Tomas Sean Pšenička and Natálie Otáhalová followed with 36 points for their rumba. Marta Jandová and Martin Prágr scored 32 for a jive, while Luciana Tomášová and Robin Ondráček received 30 for a rumba. Sara Prachař Sandeva and Daniel Makovec earned 26 points for a slowfox, and Tomáš Matonoha and Lenka Nora Návorková finished the night with 22 points for a slowfox.

Matonoha and Návorková danced first with a slowfox, and Chlopčík advised, “Try to concentrate more so you enjoy the dances more.” Tomášová and Ondráček followed with a rumba that Drexler criticized, saying, “Today wasn’t good as we’re used to… In rumba, it’s about the steps going exactly to the music. Often that didn’t happen here.” Jandová and Prágr’s jive earned praise from Chlopčík, who said, “It had huge energy and fast enough feet. You even danced it to the end in extreme setting,” while Dyk and Málek’s rumba was judged in-rhythm and sexy, though Chlopčík noted, “To be completely fantastic, what was missing was that your pelvis was running a bit backward.” Prachař Sandeva and Makovec’s slowfox prompted Burkiewiczová to say, “With folklore it’s an incredible thing for me… But playfulness suits you. It would need strengthening of the core though,” and she noted the spins had improved. Pšenička and Otáhalová closed the night with a rumba that Chlopčík called “very successful,” adding, “I liked the choreography and its development,” while Burkiewiczová called it “a beautiful, gentle story.”
122nd Broadcast Marks Two Decades of the Show
Host Marek Eben opened the episode by noting that Saturday marked the 122nd live broadcast of StarDance—and his 123rd time hosting, as Tereza Kostková missed one episode during the COVID pandemic and was replaced that night by Aleš Háma, Novinky reported. The no-elimination format fit the celebratory theme of the program, which has ranked among the country’s most-watched television shows for two decades. Kostková added that over the show’s 20-year run, 128 contestants have danced with 67 professional partners.

Betting Odds Had Favored Matonoha’s Exit
Before the broadcast, betting sites listed Matonoha as the most likely contestant to be eliminated, with Jandová second, according to Prozeny. But the outlet noted that viewer votes carry significant weight alongside jury scores, and Matonoha had previously survived a night when odds favored his departure. Prozeny explained that StarDance is not purely a dance competition and jury marks are not the only measure of success, as viewer favor can outweigh expert ratings and often supports a sympathetic contestant who struggles on the dance floor; Matonoha had spent several recent evenings at the bottom of the jury rankings. Even the point gap does not reveal who has the strongest fan base. A poll on the site asking who would leave drew 3,624 votes. Entering Saturday, Luciana Tomášová led the cumulative standings with 126 points, followed by Dyk with 123, Jandová with 99 and Matonoha with 93. The outlet also noted that some betting markets favored Dyk over Tomášová because the singer could rely on a large fan base in addition to consistent dance performances.
Viewers Cheer Ahead of the Show
Saturday evenings this autumn have belonged to StarDance, and ahead of the broadcast, contestants posed together in the outfits they would wear on the dance floor. Fans expressed their excitement online, with one writing, “I’m really looking forward to you, it will be a beautiful evening,” and another adding, “I’m looking forward to the whole beautiful evening, keeping my fingers crossed.”
Next Round Set for November 14
The next live broadcast airs November 14, when the six couples will dance again with their accumulated points intact. After that episode, the field will shrink to five pairs.
