Stéphane was deeply loved and will be remembered for his big heart, his unwavering loyalty, his genuine sense of humour, and his captivating smile – a smile that could instantly light up a room and put others at ease. He possessed a natural ability to make people laugh and feel welcome, often without even trying. He found immense pride and purpose in restoring old cars,meticulously rebuilding them and breathing new life into these classic vehicles.
Music was an integral part of Stéphane’s life.He enjoyed playing both electric and acoustic guitar, and was a passionate attendee of rock concerts, fully immersed in the music that resonated with his soul. He cherished time spent outdoors,notably hunting and fishing with his close friends,and appreciated the simple pleasures of everyday life – playing pool,sharing breakfasts,and enjoying laughter with his buddies.
A Special Bond
Most tenderly, Stéphane held a special and enduring love for his nephew, Giovanni.This bond was a source of great joy for both of them, and the memories they shared will forever remain in Giovanni’s heart. Stéphane was known for his kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others without hesitation. He had a rare gift for making people feel seen, supported, and truly loved.

Memorial Visitation & Donation Information
A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Lougheed Funeral Home, located at 252 Regent St., at Hasel St., Sudbury, on Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm, with a parish prayer at 8:00 pm.
Cremation will take place at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated in Stéphane’s memory. Diabetes Canada is a national charity dedicated to funding research, education and advocacy to improve the lives of people affected by diabetes. Donate here.
