House with an area of approximately 500 m2 paradoxically, it belongs to the smaller ones in this locality, but certainly not to the inconspicuous ones. The property, which according to the newspaper The Moscow Times bought by a Hollywood actor living permanently in Russia in 2018, it offers three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a private cinema, a wine bar, a study and a two-car garage. The whole looks like a combination of a movie backdrop and the unique taste of the owner, who is definitely not afraid of flamboyance.

Gold, decorative chandeliers and large windows to the greenery

The interior is tuned to warm tones, which are often assisted by gray, and which are regularly complemented by gold accents. Gold is the curtains in the bedrooms, furniture trim and decorative elements in the main living rooms. Almost every room is decorated with a massive chandelier; the emphasis on symmetry and shine is evident here at first glance.

Large windows together with balconies open a view of the dense greenery and mature trees around the house. The plot of land with an area of 0.2 ha offers plenty of privacy and peace, which is standard in this part of the Russian metropolis.

One of the bedrooms is spacious enough to fit two large rugs side by side. The largest bathroom is a vivid example of old-style luxury: a marble floor, a massive bathtub, a spacious shower, a bidet, a huge mirror and a distinctive red chair as a solitaire.

Cinema like a palace

The real surprise is the home cinema. The room can accommodate up to ten people and resembles a smaller private hall rather than a home theater. The walls are lined with golden columns and even the projection screen has golden framing. In short, everything is ready to tap into the golden fund of world cinema and enjoy, for example, one of Seagal’s films from the 90s, when he became famous mainly for the characters of agents, policemen and intrepid chefs.

Attention is also drawn to the study, which is equipped with only two chairs and a treadmill located right in the middle of the room. Here, functionality gives way to personal style and special combinations that make the house an exceptional, slightly eccentric whole.

Spa, sauna and grill

As reported by the diary The Sunthe area also includes a separate guesthouse with a sauna and spa facilities. The garden has a gazebo with a barbecue – an ideal place for summer evenings and social gatherings in a closed environment.

The property is located just a few kilometers from the heavily guarded residence of Vladimir Putin, Novo-Ogaryovo, and according to real estate experts, it belongs to typical examples of “status housing” – Seagal’s house is not only a place for luxurious living, but also a status symbol.

A price that attracts attention

It is the symbolism and the famous name of the owner that undoubtedly form part of the price for which the house is offered. This significantly exceeds the estimates of real estate experts, who would see it at roughly the same level as what Seagal bought the residence for in 2018; he bought it for 100 million rubles, i.e. approx. 26.8 million crowns.

According to the TV station Nexta the current asking price is 700 million rubles, i.e. 187.5 million crowns. Real estate agent Natalia Pereskokova for a Russian website PostNews confirmed that this amount is based on the image of the owner rather than the real market value of the property. She also added that due to the disproportionately high price, the sale of the property may take a long time.
