Stockton Shooting: Remembering Maya Lupian

STOCKTON, Calif. – An 8-year-old girl, Maya Lupian, was tragically among the four people killed in the Stockton mass shooting last Saturday.The shooting occurred during a childS birthday party.

Maya was a third-grader and a dedicated karate student. Her GoFundMe page,created by her family,shares details about this devastating loss.

She was just two weeks shy of her 9th birthday.The community is reeling from this senseless act of violence.

Police are still investigating the motive behind the shooting. They’ve identified the other victims as Marlon Watts, 55; Paul Yaw, 32; and Tao Wang, 38. NBC News has more information on the other victims.
