Speaking at the Genesis Invitational in California, where he serves as the tournament host, Woods acknowledged the difficulties of his recovery process. “I’m trying, put it that way,” he told reporters, as reported by Sky Sports. “The disc replacement has been one thing, it’s been a challenge. I entered a new decade, so that number is starting to sink in,” Woods explained. “My body has been through a lot. It’s one of those things, each and every day I keep trying, keep progressing and working on it. I’m trying to receive this body at a level where I can play at the highest level again.”

Woods confirmed he is still capable of hitting full shots, although not consistently. When directly asked if the Masters was “off the table,” he responded with a firm “no,” fueling speculation about a potential return to Augusta National.
