A Song of Lingering Hope

“La Última Canción” delves into the emotional turmoil of a breakup, particularly when a significant life change is already underway. The lyrics express a desire to keep the door open for a potential return, as reflected in the lines: “Even if you don’t have an answer / Even if you never come back / I leave the door ajar / Traces of breadcrumbs / In case you turn around.”

The chorus repeats the sentiment of a cyclical return, beginning and ending with the same verses: “If it’s good, take it / The house, the dog and when we build love / It was good, admit it / You were the strong one, I was the idiot of the two.”

Past Collaborations

This is not the first time Funambulista and Dani Fernández have joined forces musically. In 2020, they recorded an acoustic version of “Miedo,” a song originally released by Dani Fernández in 2019 on his album Incendios. Prior to that, in 2018, they shared the stage at Joy Eslava in Madrid, performing “Ya Verás” during a Funambulista concert.
