Totti and Verdone Shine on Rai 1’s ‘L’Eredità – Sfida tra Giganti’
Francesco Totti, the iconic former Roma captain, and Carlo Verdone, a celebrated Italian actor and director, were guests of honor on Rai 1’s L’Eredità – Sfida tra Giganti on Friday, February 20th and Saturday, February 21st, 2026. The special two-part event, hosted by Marco Liorni, celebrates 20 years of the demonstrate’s famed “ghigliottina” game.
A Night of Laughter and Reminiscence
During the program, Totti shared lighthearted moments with Liorni and the contestants, and engaged in playful banter with his friend Verdone, a passionate supporter of Roma. Verdone recounted a story about inviting Totti to dinner, a plan that remained unfulfilled for seven years, prompting a humorous exchange between the two.
Totti Takes to the Dance Floor
A highlight of the evening was Totti’s impromptu dance performance to Checco Zalone’s song “La prostate inflamada” from his latest film, Buen Camino. He initially danced with Verdone and then solo, delighting viewers and quickly becoming a trending topic on social media. Actress Letizia Arnò, who starred in Zalone’s film, was also a guest on the program.
