WASHINGTON (AP) – President Donald Trump addressed questions regarding visible bruising on his left hand Thursday, attributing it to a minor injury sustained while traveling. He stated he “clipped it on the table” and treated the area with cream.

The president responded to a reporter’s inquiry about his well-being, affirming, “I’m very good.”

Trump also mentioned that his regular aspirin use contributes to easier bruising, a point previously discussed with his physician, who has advised against such a high dosage.

the comments were made while the president was en route back to the U.S. from Switzerland.
