Universal Polythex Expands Production Capacity with Latest Logistics Center

Universal Polythex, a manufacturer of semi-finished plastic products, is expanding its headquarters in Übach-Palenberg, Germany, with the construction of a new warehouse and logistics center. The expansion aims to shorten delivery times and create space for increased production capacity.

Expansion Details

On February 9, 2026, the groundbreaking ceremony for the new 5,800 square meter facility took place, according to managing partner Stefan Nickolai . The project represents an investment of approximately 6 million EUR.

Increased Production Capabilities

The additional storage space will not only streamline logistics but too free up space within existing buildings for the installation of another extrusion system. Currently, the Übach-Palenberg location houses seven extrusion systems .
