Bulls post Fourth Undefeated Home Season in Program History

TAMPA, FLA. Nov. 29,2025 – South Florida (9-3,6-2 American) scored the first 28 points of the game behind dynamic quarterback Byrum Brown,who accounted for five touchdowns on the night,and rolled to a 52-3 victory over Rice (5-7; 2-6) on Senior Night at Raymond James Stadium.

The Bulls posted just the fourth undefeated home season in program history and the first as 2002 as they won all six home games by 27 points or more. South Florida also logged just the sixth nine-win season in program history and a sixth conference win in a season for just the fourth time.The Bulls honored 30 seniors prior to kickoff, several of whom have remaining eligibility and can return.

Quarterback Byrum Brown, among the seniors honored, continued his outstanding campaign as he continued his march toward several program records and became just the 12th player in Football Bowl Subdivision history to post 3,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing in a season. On the night, Brown went 16-of-24 for 275 yards and four touchdowns passing and ran for 104 yards and a touchdown. He broke his own season touchdown record, reaching 28, and posted the 11th 1,000-yard rushing season in program history and the third 4,000 total yard season.

Keshaun Singleton posted his second 100-yard receiving game on the year, catching six passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns as he moved into third all-time in season receiving yards with 877 on the year. The Bulls defensive effort was led by senior linebackers Jhalyn Shuler and mac Harris who posted seven and five tackles, respectively, and helped hold Rice to 257 total yards.
