Viktor Verhulst and Sarah Puttemans Display Antwerp Villa Construction Progress
Television personalities Viktor Verhulst and Sarah Puttemans showcased the ongoing construction of their luxury villa in an upscale neighborhood of Antwerp during an episode of the reality program The Verhulstjes, according to Pure Luxe. The couple secured their building permit in April 2025, and recent site visits captured by cameras show the roof and exterior facade taking shape.
Interior Layout and Conflicting Design Choices
During the site inspection, Puttemans mapped out the interior spaces, pointing to a spot for a large sofa in the living room to accommodate a future family, alongside plans for a built-in television cabinet and a bookcase. Verhulst focused his attention on designing a personal bar area, telling the production crew he envisioned pouring a drink there after a long day. The pair encountered minor disagreements over other floor plan details, including Verhulst’s earlier suggestion for separate bedrooms, which Puttemans dismissed. Puttemans prioritized a spacious dressing room that will double as a workspace for filming video content, while Verhulst claimed the right side of the main bed.
Exterior Plans and Family Accommodations
Exterior blueprints for the Antwerp property feature a swimming pool in the garden, though the couple questioned whether their dog, Joey, would use it. The multi-room layout of the villa provides ample space for visiting family members and potential children. While Verhulst grew visibly irritated by recurring questions about the construction timeline from his father, Gert Verhulst, noting that he fields inquiries daily, both partners expressed enthusiasm about eventually moving into the completed residence.
