A Collaborative Approach to Early Childhood Development

The Maternal and Child Health Hospital in Maguan County is leading this initiative, offering a daycare center that prioritizes the health and well-being of children aged 0-3 years. Unlike traditional daycare facilities, this center employs a team of child health doctors, nurses, and nutrition instructors who operate alongside early education teachers.

Medical Integration in Practice

Upon arrival each day, children undergo basic health checks, including temperature readings and oral examinations, conducted by health doctors. Each child is assigned a dedicated health file, enabling personalized health management and tracking of their development. The center focuses on key developmental areas such as sensory integration, language skills, fine motor skills, and social behavior through themed game activities led by experienced educators.

Nutritional Support and Parental Involvement

Nutrition instructors at the daycare center develop scientifically formulated meal plans tailored to the specific growth and developmental needs of each child. A medical-education collaborative observation mechanism is in place, where teachers and healthcare professionals jointly monitor and analyze children’s growth, behavior, and emotional well-being.
