Western Force to Celebrate Grassroots Rugby with Chiefs Clash

The Western Force will honor the foundation of rugby in Western Australia with a ‘Grass Roots Game’ against the Chiefs on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at HBF Park. The match, kicking off at 4:35 pm, will feature a series of activations designed to celebrate and recognize the contributions of local rugby clubs, players, volunteers, and coaches.

Ticket Discounts for Club Members

As part of the celebration, the Force are offering a 30% discount on silver tickets to members of WA rugby clubs – including players, officials, participants, and coaches. To access this discount, club members should contact their club for a unique code, then purchase tickets through Ticketmaster and enter the code during checkout.

Gilbert Rugby Prizes for Top Ticket Purchasers

WA rugby clubs will compete for prizes from Gilbert Rugby based on the number of tickets purchased through their unique codes. The prizes are as follows:

• 1st Prize: $5,000 in Gilbert Rugby vouchers
• 2nd Prize: $2,000 in Gilbert Rugby vouchers
• 3rd Prize: $1,000 in Gilbert Rugby vouchers

Additional Grassroots Initiatives

The ‘Grass Roots Game’ will include several other initiatives to support and recognize local rugby:

• Force Player Club Visits: Force players will visit their allocated Premier Grade clubs on Tuesday, March 24, ahead of the Round 7 clash.
• Club Registration Stalls: WA rugby clubs will have the opportunity to host registration stalls inside HBF Park at the Fan Zone near Gate 1, at no cost, to boost registrations for the 2026 club rugby season.
• Premier Grade Champions Lap of Honour: Last season’s Premier Grade Men’s and Women’s premiership-winning teams, Wanneroo, will participate in a lap of honour before the game or at halftime.
• Half-Time Activations: Clubs will have the chance to participate in the Retravision Catch for Cash at halftime, earning Retravision vouchers for their clubs.
• Guard of Honour: Force players will run onto the field through a Guard of Honour formed by senior and junior representatives from WA rugby clubs.
• Club Socks for Ball Kids: Ball kids assisting during the game will wear their club colours with club socks.
• Fans on Field: For the first time this season, fans will be allowed on the field to interact with players, offering opportunities for selfies, signatures, and conversations.
