In fact, alcohol-free products come alongside traditional ones and now represent a constantly growing market niche. Young people from Generation Z seem to prefer these products, not only for health reasons, but also for the informal and trendy consumption methods, closely connected to the world of mixology.

The Bottega company anticipated this trend and began doing research and experimentation in this sector for over 20 years, at least a decade before No/Alcohol became a recognized category. In fact, the first launch dates back to the mid-2000s with a non-alcoholic amaro, well in advance from both a commercial and cultural point of view.

An essential line, which effectively covers the aperitif and digestive moment, as well as the thirst-quenching break, offering various ideas to bartenders to create new mocktails, increasingly requested in the mixology sector. Let’s start with the bubbles
Bottega 0a non-alcoholic effervescent drink, which originates from selected grape must and was created with the aim of satisfying the needs of those who, for health reasons or religious reasons, do not consume alcoholic beverages. It is also appreciated by those who appreciate wine, but adopt a cautious approach to alcohol consumption. Bottega 0 evokes the great tradition of sparkling wines, of which it is an original non-alcoholic evolution. It lends itself to consolidated consumption methods and to celebrating the ritual of toasting, thanks to the timeless charm of bubbles. The skilful dosage of carbon dioxide gives the drink freshness, liveliness and character, despite the alcohol content being zero. In both white and rosé versions, it recalls the indissoluble bond with the world of wine.
During the harvest, the bunches are harvested in suitable areas when the analyzes show a good balance between sugars and acidity. We then proceed with destemming and soft pressing of the grapes. In this way, a must is obtained which is stored in refrigerated tanks to prevent alcoholic fermentation from starting. After the addition of carbon dioxide, the product is filtered and bottled. Bottega 0 should be consumed cold at a temperature of 4/5° C. Ideal at any time of the day, it is an excellent ingredient for the preparation of cocktails, particularly those based on fruit. Perfect pairing with cheeses, especially fresh ones made from goat’s and sheep’s milk, with pastries, tarts and fruit.
The no/alcohol limoncino could not be missing
Limoncino 0.0 Shopan innovative non-alcoholic drink, which Bottega has produced by virtue of thirty years of experience in the production of lemon-based liqueurs. After long experiments, a non-alcoholic variant of Limoncino was born. Specifically, during the lemon harvest, a careful selection of the Femminello Siracusano and Verdello varieties is made, choosing the fruits with optimal ripeness. During processing, all the precious organoleptic properties of the original fruit are extracted from the peels, pulp and juice. Complex innovative techniques allow the natural extraction of aromas and preserve their qualities in every production phase up to the finished product. Limoncino 0.0 is excellent served pure at the end of a meal and ideal in the preparation of tasty mocktails. It pairs very well with fresh fruit salads or in combination with lemon sorbet. Finally, it is a perfect ingredient for preparing lemon cheesecake.
