WWE Crown Jewel 2026 is relocating within Riyadh amid regional security concerns, according to a Wednesday, Oct. 28 announcement from Riyadh Season.
Venue Shift and Ticket Refunds for Riyadh Event
Riyadh Season confirmed the premium live event will still proceed on its scheduled date of Saturday, Nov. 7, but shifted away from its original venue at the temporary Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD. Ticket holders will receive full refunds, and organizers plan to re-release tickets to the public within 48 hours. While initial statements did not specify a new city, PWInsider reported the event will remain in Riyadh at a different location.

Regional Security Advisories and Diplomatic Departures
The relocation coincides with heightened security protocols across Saudi Arabia following missile and drone attacks by Iran-aligned Houthis from Yemen, which targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. In response to the strikes and resulting fatalities, the U.S. State Department issued travel advisories encouraging citizens to reconsider travel. On Oct. 23, an ordered departure took effect for non-emergency U.S. government employees and their family members in the country. The U.S. Embassy also issued a security alert warning Americans to exercise extreme caution when using any airports in Saudi Arabia.
TKO Group Holdings Contingency Planning
Ari Emanuel, CEO of WWE parent company TKO Group Holdings, addressed the operational challenges during an Oct. 22 interview with Fox News, stating that the company maintains contingency plans and conducts daily monitoring of the situation. Emanuel noted that a dedicated team is evaluating alternative relocation options if necessary. Despite the regional conflict, venue construction has progressed. Crews have started installing and raising the arena roof, most of the grandstand work is complete, and the stage has reached a significant height.

Match Card Developments and Announced Bouts
WWE has moved forward with building the match card for Nov. 7, featuring several championship bouts. Confirmed matches include Cody Rhodes facing Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match, and The Vision pairing Bron Breakker and Austin Theory against Penta and Je’Von Evans for the World Tag Team Championship. Two additional championship matches will crown the Men’s and Women’s Crown Jewel Champions, with Roman Reigns awaiting the winner of Sami Zayn versus Trick Williams, and Liv Morgan facing the winner of Chelsea Green versus Nikki Bella. Promotional artwork at the venue featured GUNTHER and Finn Balor, signaling a potential match between the two stars.
Crown Jewel streams globally at 12 p.m. ET on Nov. 7, broadcasting on the ESPN App in the United States and on Netflix internationally, with WrestleMania 43 subsequently slated for Riyadh in April 2027.
