YTL Foundation Scholarship Programme 2026: Empowering Malaysian Students

The YTL Foundation Scholarship Programme offers significant financial support to Malaysian students pursuing undergraduate degrees at both public and private universities. Eligibility Criteria

  • Programme Level: Exclusively for degree (bachelor’s) programmes.
  • Financial Need: Applicants must come from families facing financial challenges in covering tuition fees and living expenses.
  • Citizenship: Open to Malaysian citizens only.
  • Study Status: Applicants must be able to commit to full-time study.
  • Bond Period: A service bond is required upon completion of studies: 5 years for local public universities and 6 years for local private universities.

Academic Requirements

The YTL Foundation Scholarship Programme has specific academic prerequisites:

  • SPM/IGCSE: Minimum of 7As
  • STPM: Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.50
  • Matriculation/Foundation: Minimum CGPA of 3.70
  • ‘A’ Levels: Minimum of 2As
  • IB: Minimum score of 37 points
  • Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT): Minimum Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 75
