New Jersey is a hub of manufacturing, and a competition is underway to determine the “coolest thing made in the Garden State.” Among the 72 nominees is the iconic Arizona Iced Tea, produced in Keasby, New Jersey.
Arizona Iced Tea: A New Jersey Staple
Arizona Iced Tea’s 99-cent cans are manufactured at AriZonaLand, a facility in Keasby, New Jersey. AriZonaLand offers public and private tours, providing an inside look at the production process and the company’s history. The factory spans nearly 1 million square feet and is responsible for more than 70% of AriZona’s product output. The facility features unique design elements, including themed areas and a tasting bar.
Beyond Beverages: Other New Jersey-Made Innovations
Arizona Iced Tea isn’t the only New Jersey product in the running. Other nominees include the ‘Jupiter Lotto’ machine, built in Burlington County by Smart-Play, which randomly selects lottery balls. baseball rubbing mud, also from Burlington County, used by Major and Minor League Baseball to remove the sheen from new baseballs, is a contender.
